Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Support Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications, particularly for IoT solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for IoT solutions.
- Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical personnel, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Utilise project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track requirements, tasks, and communications.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure effective implementation and adoption of IoT solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure.
Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (a bachelor’s degree is preferred).
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or support roles within the software or IoT domain.
- Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies is advantageous.
- Understanding of IoT and custom software development industries is a plus.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
